43: Wordplay

Wordplay

Never a need to act loquacious.

However, what is written, not fallacious.

Neither meant to bring on vexatious

thoughts or any accusations of being mendacious.

For one close, this is not new, nor salacious

But I’ve always kept it  from being ostentatious.

Although, the haunting thoughts, voracious.

Somehow, able to hide in the gloomed impatience.

This admission not meant to be courageous,

nor to create a position advantageous

Just trying to feel something vivacious,

again, the the fight so tenacious.

For this curse, I’m so ungracious.

For my mind, it’s particularly heinous.

To my inner depths, I drop so sequacious.

Hoping to glimpse, anything, perspicacious.
