When will the children be safe?
When superpowers drop bombs,
on a minuscule minority population
elementary schools…
it makes sense.
When you remember,
the lawmakers won’t even
revamp some antiquated rules
to keep our classrooms and hallways safe.
So, why on Earth, would they give a fuck,
about other people’s kids?
It’s disgusting to think,
some tiny Iranian hands,
are imminent existential threat.
and the propaganda machine,
so strong,
that many still think,
that they are the enemy,
when on closer examination,
my government dues,
allow for global tyranny.
I see it right in front of me.
ALL children should be safe,
ALL children should be free.
Nobody is free,
until everyone is free.
An existential threat,
allowing our war crimes,
for majority safety?
I bleed from this pen,
I beg and I plead.
Stop allowing these children to bleed.
Peace and safety is what they need.
But with leaders sowing evil deeds,
forcing the poor to fulfill their hubric financial needs
intentionally blind to the damage their power heeds
and on life the power feeds,
leaving the conscious to writhe and seethe.
