67: Aging

Aging

The older I get,

the sadder I grow.

It seems as if the true colors of the world

have begun to show.

What was once thought as cerulean and vast

has become lackluster and grayscale.

As if the older I get,

the duller things become.

Sharp words stab less.

Sharp minds wither away.

Sharp bodies engorge.

Sharp objects dull.

So this dullness can’t be ALL bad.

But I still feel so sad.
